Many people have helped me develop my writing. Most have given workshops at the Romance Writers of New Zealand conferences, written articles for the members’ newsletter, or conducted on-line workshops.
Listed here are some websites you may find useful for developing the craft of writing, the method you use to write, or promotion for the finished product:

My training as a writer has been long and slow. However, I wouldn’t have reached my present standard without the help, support and camaraderie from other members of this organization.
The annual conference, monthly newsletters, email loop and supply of critique partners have all contributed to my improvement as a writer, my confidence in my ability and the new friends I’ve made.
These have all been invaluable especially while I lived in Central Otago – some distance from any writers’ groups. Now I’m associated with the Wellington-Kapiti group and love the monthly support meetings.
Members of RWNZ receive a monthly newsletter, Heart to Heart, and are eligible to enter any or all of the 3 contests run by the association.
Also, members are welcome to join a critique partner register where they can team up with other writers for exchanging feedback.
This year’s conference is being held at the Novotel, Auckland, 10-12 August. For more details, check out the Romance Writers of New Zealand website.
